Ligia Cannon: “I have always been fit. I used to go to the gym at least 4-5 times a week and work very hard. I guess I never really know what I was doing. I kept asking for advise from various fitness instructors but none, looking back, was as dedicated and caring as Anna.
My problem has always been my skinny top and rather chunky thighs and behind. I felt constantly out of proportion. My knees I hated the most, so I never wore short or a miniskirt. I tried everything running, weights, aerobic,yoga ….nothing worked.

Mashallah Ali: “I started training with Anna in March 2011 and over the course of the last 8 months she has changed my life.
I went to the doctor for a check up at the beginning of 2011 and was told that I needed to lose weight immediately and should start exercising. I was also told my cholesterol was very high and was put on medication.
I needed to change my routine and it was very difficult for me to get back into the habit as I had not done any exercise for a long time and was not used to it.
I needed to prepare myself mentally and when I started working with Anna she gave me the strength and determination I needed and pushed me very hard to reach the goal of where I needed and wanted to be.
I met her at my gym and she was easily the friendliest and most approachable personal trainer there. She is very down to earth and easy to get on with yet strict!

Pam: “I have been fortunate to have Anna as my personal trainer since January 2007. I see Anna once or twice a week for half hour toning sessions. However, I work on my own cardio exercises – running, bike, cross trainer and rowing machine which I vary day to day.
Anna has been my personal trainer since January 2007. I must admit, I was a bit dubious to pay for a trainer but I have to say she is good and makes me work extremely hard, she pushes me to my limits but will never make me over do it.
I have been working on various toning exercises for the whole of my body, using certain techniques – lunges, weights, abs and the proof of the pudding is when family and friends see the difference in how my whole body looks today. I have naturally lost about a stone in weight, and that is due to Anna giving me advise on healthy eating – don’t get me wrong, I still pig out on cakes, chocolate and lattes. But I am more body conscious and am much happier with the way my body is looking today, although I still need to work hard to keep it the way it is.
My tummy is the hardest part to tone, I remember Anna saying to me in the early stages of our training that the tummy will take longer to tone, and that the rest of my body – legs, bum, arms will tone up much quicker but once they are at a certain level of toneness, my tummy will naturally fall into place.. and it is getting there. At the end of the session, Anna stretches my whole body, this is a plus point because she can stretch me much better than I can, making my whole body much more supple.
Anna is a very thorough personal trainer who is dedicated in succeeding her clients goals in achieving the look they want. She is fun to be with and yet pushy, but that’s only her way of seeing how far you really can go. She is well worth the money and I would recommend her as a personal trainer!”

Jocelyne: “I started training with Anna at the beginning of March 2007. In 6months I have gone down from a size 20 to a size 14 and have a lot more energy and confidence to go with it. When I met Anna for the first time, she shocked me into action by revealing my Body Fat Index, and then devised an exercise programme for me. She also asked me to keep a food diary for a week, went through it with me a week later and gave me some good advice about nutrition. I see her once a week, do a gym session on my own once a week, plus swimming or water aerobics, fast walking and spinning.
Before seeing Anna, I thought that Personal Training was something for celebrities and couldn’t see the relevance to me, but it really is the most effective way to maximise your effort. Anna knows her stuff and can be tough, but in a nice way! You will discover muscles in your body that you didn’t know existed!

Andrew Jeffs: ”I was a regular gym user doing a combination of cardio and weight training before training with Anna . My wife bought me a course of training sessions with Anna as a birthday present and it turned out to be an excellent present. Her sessions for me have always been very well thought through with enough time devoted to stretching and warm-up but with a focus on sets of stength and core conditioning exercises. Anna makes you do the exercises which might be the hardest to do but bring the biggest benefit – and she can always persuade you to complete an extra repetition! We generally finished with a short boxing workout so the hour session was a much more intense and rewarding session than I would train on my own. I would recommend Anna to anyone…but be ready to work hard.”
